How can I not be super excited that this picture of my girl is on bus stops and possibly elsewhere. Newspapers, TV, Internet (we are yet to have heard anything else so, if you see a giant image of my girl looking your way, I'd love to know).
And the most exciting thing about this. We got to take her to see herself "out in the wild" (as my friend, K, coined it! Love it!). She was lucky enough that one of her photos ended up not far from where we live. And even luckier that a friend texted us to let us know because it is in an area we frequent about as often as we do the North Pole!
We took her and her bestie down after school on Wednesday and I'm not sure who was more excited, CJ and I or her - well, when she finally realised why she was there.
We kept it a secret from her as to where we were going and all she knew was that we had a surprise for her. I was busting to tell! I'm getting better at secrets but I just can't help myself most of the time. Not in a gossiping kind of way, just in a OMG I'll burst if I can't share kind of way. LOL
But I think the best part of all for me was seeing her share the surprise with her friend. And her friend was just as excited for her which made it all the more sweeter. She is now a bit of a star at school too apparently! ;p
