My gorgeous 2nd daughter arrived on the 29th June at 6am weighing in at an impressive 10lb (4.55 kg for those that are no good at conversions)!!! Her older sister absolutely adores her and it is really amazing watching their relationship already start to form.
After much drama, an epidural and a 14 hour labour ending in an emergency c-section she was ripped out of my womb (and believe me that's exactly how it felt) and, although I am so glad she is here safe in my arms, the decision to stop at 2 healthy babes has been an easy one.
The c-sec itself really freaked me out and ended with me having so much epidural that I could feel nothing from the neck down when they did the ice test!!! I swear I could still feel it!
Anyway, no complaints. It was definitely worth it. She is an absolute sweetheart. I am so in love with her and she is so good! I could just gush all day long. It's a nice change from having a screaming horror. Must have done enough hard yards with the 1st to deserve a somewhat "easy" baby 2nd time around.
Our family is complete. We are all healthy and happy.
What more can I say?
